Taco Bell will be handing out free tacos on Nov. 4 as part of its “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” World Series promotion.

The promotion was kicked into motion on Tuesday after Atlanta Braves’ second baseman Ozzie Albies stole second base in the first inning of Game 1 of the World Series against the Houston Astros.

Taco Bell dubbed Albies its 2021 “Taco Hero” and will be giving its fans a free Doritos Locos taco on Nov. 4 to celebrate the stolen base.

This is the 10th year in a row that Taco Bell has run the “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” giveaway as it looks to “celebrate America’s Taco Hero and give away a free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos for everyone in America, while supplies last.”

On Tuesday, in a tweet, Taco Bell said the promotion would run online, in-store, or through its app nationwide.

No purchase is necessary to get a free Doritos Locos taco, but there is a limit of one per person.

Taco Bell Rewards members that registered before the first game of the World Series will have early access to a free taco as one was loaded to their loyalty account for use by Nov. 3 at 11:59 p.m. PDT via the app.

Game 2 of the World Series is slated for Wednesday night.
