This 'Friends' Reunion Beat Kylie Jenner For The Most-Liked Instagram Post Of 2019

Kylie Jenner must hand her crown for being the celebrity with the most-liked photo on Instagram of 2018 over to 2019’s new queen, Jennifer Aniston.

The actress' post that beat the billionaire beauty mogul was a selfie featuring the cast of the hit show “Friends” with the caption “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM.”

This was Aniston’s debut on the photo-sharing app and currently has 15.4 million likes.

After scoring 2018’s most-liked photo of the year, Jenner was pushed all the way back to seventh place in 2019. Jenner’s top photo for 2019 was her and former beau, Travis Scott, modeling for Playboy in September with 14 million likes.

The egg that still holds the record for being the most-liked photo on Instagram ever and holds the title for 2019 with 54 million likes. AOL reported that the photo of the egg was actually part of a campaign to promote mental health and wellness.

A tree with the words “double tap to plant a tree” from Tentree, a clothing company, takes the second spot with 15.6 million likes. Their mission was “to make the most sustainable post on the planet.” Their post helped to plant 500,000 trees in Indonesia.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Selena Gomez were also in the top five. The Rock shared a photo of his surprise wedding in Hawaii on Aug. 19 that reached 14.7 million likes and Gomez posted a selfie with her friends on the beach getting 14.5 million likes.

Even though Jenner didn’t reach number one this year, she still dominated the list with four other photos making the top 15. Three out of four of the pictures feature her daughter Stormi and one was her wishing Scott a happy birthday.
