“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke recently shared details from her first meeting with Prince William at the palace.

During her appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyer,” Clarke said that it was very frightening to go to the palace. “There’s a whole… there’s a thing. When you’re there, I was just relaxing and they said, ‘Prince William is coming…’ So I was like, ‘Oh cool, great.’ I am really relaxed and everything is going to be fine. They were like, ‘You can’t turn your back,’ so I was like, ‘No worries,’ and they said, ‘You have to address him as Your Royal Highness.’ Then after that, you can call him Prince William and there are lots of formalities that you need to kind of adhere to,” she said (via Express).

Clarke revealed the for whatever reason, she found it hard to address the Duke of Cambridge as His Royal Highness. Instead of calling him as such, the actress ended up saying “ra ra.”

“It was pretty much all I managed,” she said.

Despite the awkward meeting, Clarke proved that she is a huge fan of the royal family. Instead of watching her own screening of “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” she opted to tune in to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding on May 19.

“I had a screening of the ‘Star Wars’ movie that I’m in for my friends and family on the day and I didn’t get my dates right, so I didn’t realize they were on the same day. So I sort of thought no one would turn up, but then they did, so then they watched the movie and I watched the wedding. I did hope for a bit of a domestic. But no one even fell,” Clarke revealed.

During her appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Clarke described the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding as “seamless.”
