KEY POINTS

  • "Genshin Impact" 1.5 is currently live
  • Rumors say that miHoYo would unlock Inazuma in the next major update
  • Ayaka is rumored to arrive in "Genshin Impact" Update 1.6

Contrary to earlier leaks and speculations, a new leak has claimed that the Inazuma region, Ayaka and Yoimiya will not be available yet when "Genshin Impact" 1.6 releases.

New release details of the highly awaited new nation Inazuma are courtesy of industry insider Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. According to the insider, some parts of the Inazuma region might become accessible in "Genshin Impact" 1.7. On their Discord channel, the insider was asked if Inazuma would be released in Update 1.7.

"I would say the possibility is 70%, very close to completion, I can say this for certain, but I cannot explain in details [sic] to prevent Mihoyo lawsuit. But definitely not the full Inazuma will be released, just a portion," the insider revealed. As for the release of Ayaka, one of the fan-favorite characters, the insider said, "She will be released in 1-2 patches after 1.6."

Meanwhile, the insider has mentioned that Yoimiya is already complete and hinted at the possibility that she might be a part of "Genshin Impact 1.7. "Yoimiya is completed, but she is not in the current beta. We might have to wait until 1.7 beta to see if she will be coming," the tipster noted. Ayaka was one of the featured characters in the early closed beta of "Genshin Impact" before the game's official release.

Ironically, the princess of the House of Kamisato has not appeared in the hit gacha game yet. This leads to a lot of rumors and leaks about the character's arrival. Earlier rumors suggested that she would be introduced in Update 1.4, but none of those supposed leaks were proven accurate.

So far, Ayaka has been predicted to be part of every upcoming version of "Genshin Impact." The general assumption is that Ayaka would be added to the game in Update 1.6, according to various leaks from the Update 1.6 closed beta version.

However, it is worth noting that beta tests are always subject to change. Until miHoYo confirms that Ayaka is coming in the next "Genshin Impact" update, fans should manage their expectations and view these leaks and rumors surrounding the character with skepticism.
