KEY POINTS

  • Gisele Bundchen is ready to end her 13-year marriage with Tom Brady, a report claims
  • The supermodel is reportedly figuring out her life and doesn't have much contact with Brady
  • Brady and Bundchen have reportedly retained divorce lawyers

Gisele Bundchen doesn't think the issues in her marriage with Tom Brady can be repaired, a report has claimed.

The Brazilian fashion model, 42, "is done" trying to make her marriage with Brady, 45, work and is ready to "move on," an anonymous source told People.

"She is done with their marriage," the insider close to Bündchen said. "She was upset about it for a long time and it's still difficult, but she feels like she needs to move on. She doesn't believe that her marriage can be repaired."

Bundchen is reportedly "doing OK" as her 13-year marriage with Brady nears its end.

"She is just trying to figure out her life," the source continued. "She doesn't have much contact with Tom."

International Business Times could not independently verify the claims.

Bundchen and Brady allegedly had an "epic" fight that prompted the model to leave their home in Florida, Page Six reported in early September. The power couple has since been living separately, according to the outlet.

It's been reported that the alleged conflict was triggered by Brady's decision to unretire from the NFL. However, an unnamed insider recently told People that their marriage problems are more nuanced than just his return to playing football.

"It's complicated," the source said. "There's a lot more to it."

The former Victoria's Secret Angel and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback have both since retained divorce lawyers, according to Page Six.

Bundchen has been working with her divorce lawyer for "weeks," a source told People.

The Super Bowl champ "feels very hurt" by his wife, a separate insider close to Brady told the outlet.

Brady only hired a divorce attorney because he wants to "protect himself" in a potential divorce from the model, who is reportedly the one "steering" things, the source claimed.

"She is the one steering the divorce," the insider claimed. "She is playing offense and he is playing defense. He wants to protect himself, protect his interests, but he's only starting to go the legal route in his defense from her. He doesn't want this to be ugly, he doesn't want to fight. If the divorce is happening — and it seems like it is — he wants it to go as smoothly as possible."

Bundchen was spotted without her wedding ring during two outings in Florida this week. She was photographed sans her wedding band when she left a South Beach gym Monday.

The ring was also missing when Bundchen took her and Brady's two children, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, to a gym the following day. She was in full-mom mode, carrying her children's gym gear.
