The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 has been unleashed with flagship specs. The Verizon Wireless exclusive product will come out to replace the older Motorola Droid Turbo that met with positive reviews from users.

One of its major rivals is the Google Nexus 6P that also comes with similar specs and affordable pricing. Here is a show down on the specifications, features and price of the Google Nexus 6P with that of Motorola Droid Turbo 2.

Design and Display

The Google Nexus 6P is a Huawei handset that has a thickness of 7.3 mm and weighs 176 grams. The large-sized Huawei smartphone that features full-aluminum chassis measures 159.3 x 77.8 mm. The rear panel features a fingerprint sensor.

The Verizon Droid Turbo 2 is not a slim device as its thickness is 9.2 mm. It measures 149.5 x 78 mm and weighs 170 gm. It sports a rugged construction that features a metallic frame. Before purchasing the handset, users can completely its accents and back panel. It lacks a fingerprint sensor.

The Nexus 6P features an AMOLED display of 5.7 inches that is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 4 whereas the Droid Turbo 2 is fitted with a shatterproof P-OLED display of 5.4 inches. Both the screens support Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Chipset, RAM and Storage

Both the handsets are powered by the Snapdragon 810 chipset and 3 GB of RAM. The Nexus 6P comes in three storage editions of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. On the other hand, the Droid Turbo offers two native storage variants of 32 GB and 64 GB. There is no microSD slot on the Nexus 6P but the Droid Turbo 2 supports up to 200 GB of microSD card on its additional storage.

Camera and Software

There is a 12-megapixel camera on the rear side of the Nexus 6P. The Droid Turbo 2 features a 21-megapixel camera. Both the cameras are enabled with dual-LED flash but lack support for Optical Image Stabilization.

For shooting selfies, the Huawei Nexus 6P features an 8-megapixel whereas the Verizon Droid Turbo 2 has a 5-megapixel camera. The Google Nexus 6P comes preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Verizon Droid Turbo 2 is shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is likely to receive the Android 6.0 upgrade in near future.

Battery and Price

The 3,450 mAh battery of the Huawei Nexus 6P does not support wireless charging. The Droid Turbo 2 that is equipped with 3,760 mAh battery carries support wireless charging.

The 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants of the Nexus 6P are available for $499, $549 and $649, respectively. The 32 GB and 64 GB models of the Droid Turbo 2 are priced at $624 and $720 at Verizon.
