ABC just dropped a new “Thank God It’s Thursday” (“TGIT”) teaser for Shonda Rhimes’ three shows, “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 14, “Scandal” Season 7 and “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 4.

The 39-second video previews the special Thursday lineup of Shonda Rhimes shows and their lead stars. One scene shows “Grey’s Anatomy” lead character Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). Meanwhile, “Scandal” star Kerry Washington’s Olivia Pope is caught in the middle of a huge crowd asking her questions as the professional fixer of President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn). A scene from “How to Get Away With Murder” shows Viola Davis’ Annalise Keating being shot and falling to the ground.

After the three flashbacks from previous episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder,” the female lead stars reunite and sit on a couch with glasses of wine in their hands. The clip also confirms that the original lineup is back since last year’s “TGIT” promo featured “The Catch” star Mireille Enos. Unfortunately, ABC has already canceled the series after only two seasons.

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 14 and “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 4 are expected to premiere on ABC on Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. EDT, respectively. “Scandal,” on the other hand, will kick off its final season on Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. EDT. Starting Oct. 5, the “TGIT” lineup will be complete.

As of late, it is still unclear what will take the place of “Scandal” next year in the 9 p.m. time slot. It could be replaced by one of the two new shows executive producer Rhimes will introduce this year. The “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff, which centers on a group of Seattle firefighters, will premiere in the fall. “For the People,” a legal drama, is expected to premiere midseason. By the looks of it, the yet-to-be-titled “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff or “For the People” may take the place of “Scandal” next year if the shows are picked up for Season 2.
