Until now, Rockstar Games, the team behind the successful “Grand Theft Auto” series, has not yet confirmed if it is indeed working on the sequel of “GTA 5.” However, since 2018, the Internet has not run out of leaks and rumors related to “GTA 6.” A recent move by Rockstar Games triggered the explosion of speculations that the announcement of the game is happening very soon.

New Website Update

The source of the recent uproar about the announcement of “GTA 6” is the website update made by Rockstar Games. The game developer recently revamped and updated its website and uploaded a new piece of mysterious artwork that hyped the fans, especially those of “GTA 6.” The artwork was first spotted by former Rockstar Games insider named Yan2295.

The artwork attracted the interest of the fans because it is not the usual style of artwork that Rockstar Games is known of. While it could be a promotional artwork by the game developer, some believe that it could be related to an upcoming “GTA Online.” Of course, hopeful “GTA 6” fans are wishing that it is in a way related to the game’s announcement.

Private YouTube Video

But, speculations do not stop there. Another “GTA 6” fan points out that Rockstar Games has a private video uploaded on its official YouTube page. This further supports the theory that the game developer is "about to announce something." However, there is a chance, as the fan underlines, that the private video could be related to “GTA 5.” Other fans claim that the YouTube channel of Rockstar Games used to have 258 videos, but now it has 259.

Earlier Leak

Just recently, several “GTA 6” fans spotted the job listing of Rockstar Games, which fuelled speculations that it is indeed working on the much-awaited title and could make the announcement soon. The listing is for a Technical Build Engineer for its office in Scotland. While the post does not directly state that it is for “GTA 6,” fans believe that the mention of large-scale projects is a hint that one of them could be “GTA 6.”

For now, treat these details as speculations. Hopefully, one of these days, Rockstar Games could share any details if it is indeed developing the game or if fans have to wait much longer for its release.
