Hailey Baldwin has made a bold comment about Taylor Swift’s squad.

In an interview with Yahoo7 Be, the model said: “I don’t understand the Taylor Swift squad at all. I don’t know what having a squad means. I just have my friends and that’s it.”

Baldwin added that she does not see the point of labeling your group of friends and going public with your friendship. “I don’t know what that proves,” the model said. “So I don’t really understand the Taylor Swift squad at all.”

Baldwin also said that she traveled quietly with some friends to Canada, which was “exactly what [she] wanted.” It’s a stark contrast to Swift’s outings with her squad. The singer’s group often attends events together. When they travel, they also share photos of their trips on social media.

Meanwhile, Baldwin is not the first to call out Swift’s squad. Demi Lovato spoke against the “Bad Blood” singer’s group of friends during an interview with Glamour, calling out the lack of women who have normal body sizes in the group.

“To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body,” Lovato said. “It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like, and it’s not real.”

Chloe Grace Moretz also told Complex that she was recruited to be part of Swift’s squad, but she declined the offer. The actress said she did not want to be part of the group because “they appropriate exclusivity. They’re cliques.”

Meanwhile, for Miley Cyrus, who also declined to be part of Swift’s group, declining to be part of the group is natural because she likes being friends with “real people who are living real lives because I’m inspired by them.”

Among those who are members of Swift’s squad are Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and Seraya McNeil.
