Heading into college football's conference championship games, the 2022 Heisman Trophy Watch is centered on one player. USC quarterback Caleb Williams has separated himself from the rest of the candidates and has emerged as the overwhelming favorite to win the award.

Williams has -3000 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook to win the 2022 Heisman Trophy. TCU quarterback Max Duggan is a distant second with +2000 odds. Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud is third at +2500. Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett has +10000 Heisman odds and is the fourth and final candidate on the board.

The Heisman Trophy race was close for much of the season. Tennessee's Hendon Hooker and Alabama's Bryce Young, the reigning winner, were among the favorites until their teams suffered a pair of losses.

Williams and Jones were neck-and-neck in the race for the award before last weekend's games. With close to even odds, Williams went 18-of-22 for 232 yards and a touchdown, in addition to rushing for three scores in USC's 38-27 win over Notre Dame. Stroud threw a pair of interceptions as Ohio State was upset by Michigan 45-23.

USC clinched a spot in the Pac-12 Championship Game with the victory and could be headed to the College Football Playoff. Ohio State missed a chance to play in the Big Ten Championship Game and could be left out of the final CFP field.

In his first season with the Trojans, Williams has 3,712 passing touchdowns, 34 passing touchdowns and three interceptions. Williams also has 351 yards and 10 scores on the ground.

Duggan has led TCU to a perfect record and an appearance in the Big 12 Championship Game. The senior has 3,070 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns and three interceptions.

Bennett has 23 total touchdowns for the undefeated Bulldogs during their title defense.
