“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” family member Billy Thompson, who had not been seen since last week, is alive and safe, TMZ reported, a day after his brother Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson and sister-in-law Mama June Shannon filed a missing person report. Billy claimed that he intentionally did not respond to calls made by Mama June and Sugar Bear.

Billy, who was going through a tough time after breaking up with his wife, was working with his friend, TMZ reported. Sugar Bear’s brother reportedly said that he was in contact with other family members but is not planning to speak to Mama June anytime soon. He reportedly said that he was spending time with his children last week, and so Mama June and Sugar Bear were making a big deal out of nothing.

According to TMZ, Billy had not been seen since April 11 after he was at the McIntyre, Georgia, home shared by Sugar Bear, Mama June and her four children. Billy came over that afternoon to celebrate Mama June's 18-year-old daughter, Jessica Shannon, going to prom.

The hit TLC show had received criticism and was canceled after it was revealed that Mama June was allegedly dating a convicted child molester following a brief split from Sugar Bear, TMZ reported. The man was identified as 53-year-old Mark McDaniel, who was convicted in 2004 for aggravated child molestation and had served 10 years in prison. Last year, TMZ also reported that McDaniel had abused “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon when she was 8 years old.
