Chick-fil-A is now offering free chicken nuggets this January for customers that use its mobile app. By either signing into the mobile app or creating a Chick-fil-A One account, customers will be treated to a free eight-count order of classic nuggets.

The promotion runs through Jan. 31 and can be redeemed in restaurants or at the drive-thru by placing a mobile order via the app.

The fast-food chain said the promotion is a way to say “thank you” to its customers.

“Our customers are incredibly important to us, and this is one small way to thank them for their loyalty and introduce the perks of our app to new guests,” Kevin Purcer, director of customer digital experience at Chick-fil-A said in a statement.

The company made the announcement along with offering a new 120-calorie Kale Crunch Side to its menu. Chick-fil-A tested the Kale Crunch Side, which includes a blend of kale and cabbage tossed in apple cider and Dijon mustard vinaigrette topped off with salted almonds, at a series of restaurants in Florida, Iowa, and Texas last spring.

Through the free chicken nugget promotion, Chick-fil-A said it will allow an exchange of a Kale Crunch Side at no additional charge.
