  • Davidson reportedly is unfazed by West's disapproval and instead is just focused on "enjoying his time" with Kardashian

Kanye West was not happy when his estranged wife Kim Kardashian went on a trip to the Bahamas with her new beau Pete Davidson, a report says.

West, 44 — who now goes by Ye — and Kardashian, 41, split last year after nearly seven years of marriage, and she filed for divorce in February 2021. A year after their separation, however, the rapper is reportedly still bitter over his ex moving on with a new man.

"Pete and Kim had a great time on their trip to the Bahamas and are continuing to have a lot of fun together. Kanye still isn't too thrilled by Pete and Kim's relationship but is doing his best to stay distracted, busy and fulfilled with his own life," an unnamed source told Entertainment Tonight.

The "Saturday Night Live" comedian, 28, is not bothered by West's disapproval and instead is more concerned with "enjoying his time" with Kardashian, according to the insider.

"Pete isn't concerned or threatened by Kanye and is just enjoying his time with Kim," the source added. "Pete is so attracted to her and thinks she's so cool and smart. They have amazing chemistry and are really loving their time with each other."

Kardashian and Davidson reunited for a Bahamian getaway after spending New Year's Eve apart. The Skims founder celebrated the end of 2021 with her family in California, while the "King of Staten Island" star was in Miami co-hosting a New Year's Eve show for NBC with Miley Cyrus.

The lovers decided to spend some quality time together because they will be busy in the next few months, with Kardashian working on her company rebrand and Davidson on his various filming projects, another source told ET.

Kardashian and Davidson were first linked in October last year following the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star's hosting debut on "SNL." They confirmed their romance a month later with some PDA-filled dates.

Meanwhile, West previously made several public attempts to win back Kardashian. She then filed documents to be declared legally single last month amid their ongoing divorce.

According to reports, the Yeezy founder recently purchased a $4.5 million house in the same street as the home he used to share with Kardashian in Hidden Hills, California, as they co-parent their four kids — North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

Following Kardashian's apparent response to his reconciliation attempts, West moved on with "Uncut Gems" actress Julia Fox. The two were previously seen together in Miami and reunited for another outing in New York City Tuesday. They dined at Carbone in Greenwich Village and headed to his hotel together.

Fox recently shared their PDA-heavy photos in an article she wrote for Interview where she talked about how they met.

"I met Ye in Miami on New Year's Eve and it was an instant connection," she wrote. "His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing and smiling all night."
