The HTC One M10 rumors suggest that it will soon arrive to replace the HTC One M9 handset. The purported specs and a leaked image of the HTC One M10, codenamed HTC Perfume, has already surfaced.

The HTC One M9 that came out last year was considered to include significant improvements over the HTC One M8 from 2014. However, the HTC One M10 is expected to come with major improvements. Here is a comparison of the alleged specifications, features and price of the HTC One M10 with that of HTC One M9:

Design and Display

Rumors suggest that the HTC One M10 appears similar to the midrange HTC One A9 that was introduced recently. The metal-clad HTC Perfume is likely to not feature the HTC logo bar that is found at the bottom of the display.

The HTC One M10 will be packed with an AMOLED display of 5.1-inch that will support Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The predecessor model features a 5-inch full HD resolution screen.

Chipset, Storage and RAM

The HTC One M10 will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. It will be packed with a native storage of 32GB and will also carry support for microSD card. A MediaTek Helio X20 chipset edition is expected to be available for select Asian markets. The HTC One M9 features Snapdragon 810, 3 GB of RAM, native storage of 32GB and microSD card slot.

Camera and Software

The HTC One M10 is expected to feature UltraPixel technology powered 12.3-megapixel camera from Sony. The HTC One M9 includes a 20-megapixel camera. An UltraPixel technology driven front-facing camera of 5-megapixel is expected to be available on the HTC One M10. The HTC One M9 has a 4-megapixel frontal camera.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow overlaid with HTC Sense 8.0 UI is expected to be arrive on the HTC One M10 smartphone. The HTC One M9 was launched with Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, the smartphone can be upgraded to the latest Android software.

Battery and Release Date

The HTC One M9 is packed with 2840 mAh battery. As of this writing, there is no information available on the battery capacity of HTC Perfume. The HTC One M9 was launched in March 1 last year, but its successor is expected to get unleashed on April 11, GSM Arena reported.
