About Honor 10 Lite beta testing program

In the beta testing program, testers are mandatorily required to send feedback in order to help improve the custom ROM as well as fix bugs before the stable, bug-free ROM is released in the wild. The beta testing program is said to be the last step before the stable ROM is released in the market, Gizmo China reported.

In addition to Honor 10 Lite, the beta testing program recruitment was also expanded to accommodate beta testers for Huawei Mate 20 series and two other Huawei-owned smartphone brands, the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro smartphones.

Here’s the hardware requirement for the Honor 10 Lite beta testing program

Before updating the Honor 10 Lite device, users are advised to check first the full list of the supported Honor 10 models. The beta program’s supported Honor 10 devices are the following: Honor 10 Youth Edition Netcom HRY-AL00, the Honor 10 Youth Edition Netcom HRY-AL00a, and the Honor 10 Youth Edition Mobile Custom HRY-TL00.

The device must also have at least 6GB of free storage to download and install the new mobile software. The device should not have root access, because this will interfere with the update process.
