  • Donald Trump Jr. bought a $9.7 million Jupiter, Florida mansion in April
  • The entrepreneur has an estimated net worth of $300 million
  • He and his girlfriend previously sold off their Bridgehampton home for $8.14 million

Donald Trump Jr., son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, bought a $9.7 million property in Jupiter, Florida with his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, in April. The real estate has a massive 11,300-square-foot mansion and a 1.2-acre backyard.

The entrepreneur’s newest property is found in the Admiral’s Cove neighborhood. It’s a short 20-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach where the Trump Golf Club is located. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle reportedly bought the mansion after seeing the residence’s large backyard, People reported.

Trump Jr.’s new home has a well-designed veranda equipped with cemented arches. The large backyard also has a pool and a lush garden wall. The family can take a breather at the residence’s patio that overlooks the Loxahatchee River.

“Only a handful of houses in the 188-home community have this much backyard space. Don Jr. is a family guy and his children live close. The space for the kids is ample,” Realtor Rob Thomson of Waterfront Properties and Club Communities in Jupiter said in an interview with People.

The businessman bought the luxurious property two and a half months after moving from New York following the 2020 election results. “There is no way they can stay in New York. They’d be tortured in the streets,” a source close to the family told the New York Post.

The property was listed for more than twice the price Trump Jr. bought it for, at $19.9 million, in 2017. However, after it was removed and reposted on the market several times, the price shot down by more than $10 million, the outlet said

Before purchasing the Florida property, the couple sold their home in Bridgehampton for $8.14 million in an off-market deal in March, a source told Business Insider. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle were able to flip the value of the home since it only cost $4.4 million when they bought it in 2019.

Trump Jr. has an estimated net worth of $300 million, the majority of which comes from his position as executive vice president of his father’s company, the Trump Organization, as per Celebrity Net Worth. The wealth that the entrepreneur built within the company has allowed him to acquire many real estate properties, including a nearly 6,000-square-foot Manhattan apartment, and to co-own a 170-acre hunting preserve in upstate New York with his brother Eric Trump.
