Iranian state television broadcast a mock hanging of President Donald Trump as part of a broader display of messages calling for his killing.
The footage shows an actor wearing a Trump musk and dressed as a prisoner. He is then executed by a man wearing a Revolutionary Guards uniform in Tehran's Tajrish Square. People watch the scene and cheer as the person with the Trump mask is hanged after resisting, Iran International detailed.

Earlier this week, a large billboard was unveiled in central Tehran with a pledge to kill Trump. "We Will Kill Trump," reads the billboard, which shows the president behind bars and with his head bowed. It is located in Enghelab Square, a busy intersection in the Iranian capital.
Another billboard located nearby shows Trump and Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with raged suits and against the background of torn U.S. and Israeli flags.
Iranian officials have been celebrating the Republican party's defeat in the midterms. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said "Conscience or the cost of living, Americans said NO TO WAR, and we endorse this message."
Ghalibaf, who has been involved in negotiations with Washington, also issued a warning to the U.S. government, saying it would face a "Nightmare" if it ignored voters to serve what he called "international paymasters and blackmailers."
Trump, on his end, is asking advisers whether Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth should leave the administration as the Iran war emerged as the main reason for the GOP's historic defeat.
The president has not made a decision on the matter, according to CBS News. But other top officials involved in the hostilities, including CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper and Gen. Dan Caine, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, could see some fallout.
The blame game is already in full display in the Republican party, especially after Vice President JD Vance said in a social media post that an "honest conversation" about the matter needs to be had about it moving forward.
Vance analyzed the election on Wednesday, saying that many Republicans who turned out to vote instead chose Democrats to punish their party for ignoring their concerns.
"Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026," Vance said in a passage of the publication.
He went on to concede the argument from a pollster who told him the administration's economic message "wasn't sharp enough down the stretch," but the "real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone."
"The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there," Vance added.
