Happy anniversary, Charlie Brown! This December, everyone’s favorite blockhead will be celebrating his 50th Christmas. ABC, the network that has been hosting the beloved Peanut specials since 2001, will be honoring this milestone by airing the festive special, “It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown.”

The anticipated special, set to be retrospectively hosted by “Frozen” star Kristen Bell on Monday, Nov. 30, will celebrate the five decades of joy that the iconic Charles M. Schulz-created classic, “Charlie Brown Christmas,” has brought to the small screen.

But Bell won’t be the only red carpet star making an appearance in the upcoming TV special. The “unforgettable night” will also feature “several spectacular” live acts, according to the show’s synopsis. Kristin Chenoweth will be singing “Happiness” from the “Peanuts” Broadway hits and “Glee” star Matthew Morrison will perform the original single “Just Like Me.”

Other musical guests set to perform classic songs from the Emmy-winning series, which has become a holiday staple for generations of fans, are Sarah McLachlan, Boyz II Men, Pentatonix, David Benoit and the All-American Boys Chorus. The forthcoming special will also pay tribute to composer Vince Guaraldi, the mastermind behind all the jazzy tunes heard throughout the “Peanuts” installment, which first made its small screen debut in December 1965.

Fans can catch the hour-long special, “It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown,” on Monday, Nov. 30, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
