Now that Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) is ready to start dating again, “Jane the Virgin” is probably going to introduce tons of interesting suitors for her.

One of them might be “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey, who will be introduced during the Season 3 finale. According to Deadline, Posey will play someone from Jane’s past, and he will have a recurring role next season. Will he be a childhood crush or Jane’s boyfriend prior to Michael (Brett Dier)?

When Jane realized that she is ready to meet new guys, her baby daddy Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) was totally supportive and encouraged her to be more open-minded. As for himself, he started to fall in love once again with his other baby mommy, Petra (Yael Grobglas).

This really put a damper on the hopes of Jane and Rafael shippers, but Baldoni told Entertainment Tonight that fans need not fret because the two former lovers are in a really good place right now. Should they pursue a relationship in the future, at least they have already built the foundation of friendship.

“If there were anything to happen in the future, is that there’s a foundation for that, whereas before, there wasn’t,” he explained. “As we know from the past, the friendship between Jane and Michael was what made their relationship so beautiful. Now, it’s really nice to have a friendship with Rafael and Jane, where he can be honest with her or he doesn’t have to be careful because he’s pining after her all the time.”

For the meantime, Jane is busy crushing on her father Rogelio’s (Jamie Camil) new co-star, Fabian. Rogelio is going to try and keep Jane away from his co-star, but it looks like his attempts will be in vain.

“Jane the Virgin” Season 3 will return on April 24, Monday at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
