It’s official: “Teen Mom 2” stars Javi Marroquin and Briana DeJesus are dating. It’s the first time a co-star’s ex started a relationship with another cast member.

Marroquin and DeJesus have been friends for months, but they made things official after they filmed Saturday’s Season 8 reunion special in Los Angeles, People Magazine reported Wednesday.

“We are dating,” Marroquin confirmed to People. “We’ve been friends for a while and we weren’t in a rush.”

Both of the reality stars have children from different relationships. Marroquin shares 3-year-old son Lincoln with his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry. DeJesus is the mother two daughters: 6-year-old daughter Nova with ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin, and 3-month-old daughter Stella with ex-boyfriend Luis Hernandez.

DeJesus originally joined MTV as a member of “Teen Mom 3,” but the series was canceled after the first season. But after she became pregnant with her second child, MTV asked her to join Season 8 of “Teen Mom 2” in an unprecedented move.

The pair went on a blended family vacation to Disney World in September.

“Florida was full of Long days, but the kids enjoyed themselves and I got to spend time with these two sissy’s,” he wrote on Instagram, referring to DeJesus and her sister, Brittany. “Surrounded by amazing people this week.”

Last month, Marroquin was ambiguous about dating.

“We talked about [dating] and we said there is no rush. Long distance is already hard enough as it is. If we want to keep this friendship and get closer and get to know each other, there is no rush,” he told Radar Online at the time.

“I’m quick to commit to someone,” he continued. “But taking it slow, I like that. I see it happening, who knows. We talk every day, she’s busy with the two girls and I’m busy working out. We keep in touch.”

Lowry didn’t immediately respond to the new couple dating.

But DeJesus made it obvious that she and Lowry were not friends and threw indirect shade at her when she said Jenelle Evans was the only “Teen Mom 2” cast member who wasn’t phony.

[She] was the only one who wasn’t acting like her s--- ain’t stink,” DeJesus said on Instagram Sunday about Evans. “Plus she was the only one who wasn’t acting fake and choosing sides.”

“She has never done anything shady to me for me not to like her,” DeJesus continued. “She’s cool alongside David [Eason]… they welcomed me with open arms. The others had a guard up and it’s understandable because their loyalty sided with their friends, but it’s still fake to choose sides.”
