“Teen Mom 2” star Javi Marroquin did not issue a statement after his wife, Kailyn Lowry, confirmed their split after three years of marriage. The airman also deleted his Twitter account and remained silent on Instagram.

In the past, Marroquin has used social media as an outlet to express frustration, which was one of many hints that his marriage was troubled. “I had to let go of us to show myself what I could do,” he tweeted May 11. “What a time to be alive.”

Lowry said she didn’t know why her husband, who is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force overseas, wrote the post. “I don’t know what’s going on,” she told Radar Online in an exclusive interview at the time. “Being there is messing with his head, I’m sure. My head is exactly where your head is.”

Two weeks later, Lowry confirmed their split to the U.K.’s Daily Mail. “We’re trying to do the best we can for our kids because they are what really matters,” she said.

Rumors swirled that Marroquin cheated on Lowry with someone from work after he posted a picture of himself with another woman to Instagram and on Snapchat. "Kail believes Javi cheated with a woman he's been hanging out with," an insider told In Touch Weekly. "It's definitely over."

A major bump in their marriage came after Lowry miscarried and her husband blamed her. "I was so emotionally invested in the baby that when you miscarried I knew it was nobody’s fault," he said on an episode of “Teen Mom 2,” adding he "needed someone to blame." Lowry was hurt and said she didn’t know he felt that way.

She didn’t get any breaks on social media, either. The reality star blasted a Twitter user who claimed she was turning into her mother. “Oh, do you know her?” Lowry wrote. She and her mother have a notoriously rocky relationship.

“Teen Mom 2” airs Mondays on MTV at 10 p.m. EDT.
