After being single for quite some time, it seems like “Passengers” star Jennifer Lawrence, 26, has finally found love again in director Darren Aronofsky, 47.

The two have been spotted strolling along Central Park in New York City over the holiday weekend, with the two sharing a lollipop and Lawrence cradling her dog Pippi. An eyewitness told E! News that they “were laughing and smiling while walking with her dog” and definitely “[looked] like a couple.”

A separate source added that they've been “official since August.” In fact, when Aronofsky's dad had “some medical issues,” Lawrence was “very supportive and has even visited him in hospital.”

The two first met when Aronofsky cast Lawrence in a leading role for his film “Mother,” which is due out later this year, according to the Daily Mail. They finished filming in August last year, but a different report said their romance only developed sometime in October.

Aronofsky, known for his work in “Black Swan,” was praised by his new girlfriend as a “visionary.” She loves his work so much that she did not hesitate being a part of his new film.

The May-December couple had other high-profile relationships in the past. Aronofsky shares a 10-year-old son named Henry with ex Rachel Weisz, while Lawrence dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and “X-Men” co-star Nicholas Hoult for some time.

Since making “Passengers,” rumors have even circulated that she had a fling with her leading man Chris Pratt, who is currently married to actress Anna Faris. However, there is no truth to the rumors, and Pratt and Lawrence remain good friends.

It remains uncertain whether or not Lawrence has already met Aronofsky’s son, but insiders did note that the actress “seems very comfy with his family.”
