“Shades of Blue” Season 2 lead star Jennifer Lopez is ready to reprise her role as Harlee Santos in the hit NBC series.

Just recently, the actress shared a photo of herself wearing a red and black handwrap that’s typically used for boxing. Lopez’s signature curly hair as Harlee is pulled back in a bun. The actress also teased her character’s return, as well as Harlee’s desire to “never stop fighting” for herself, her daughter and for those she loves.

Meanwhile, details from “Shades of Blue” Season 2 are still being kept under wraps. What is only known is that the series will premiere early next year.

While speaking with Deadline, cast member Ray Liotta hinted on “Shades of Blue” Season 2 also having 13 episodes just like Season 1. The veteran actor said that the short run is what made him say yes to the show. “I’m 61, so when I first started out, if you were doing a television show, it was the end of your career, and then things just changed about 10 years ago. They were casting people who were doing these 13-episode shows. I was happy with what I was doing,” he said.

In other news, Liotta also spoke with Digital Spy to say that he wishes “Shades of Blue” will be on air for four to five seasons at least. “I think contractually, it’s four or five years… But what I liked about it is that it’s only 13 episodes per season and you’re only working five months, so you’ve got seven months to do movies. It doesn’t take up your whole life like a 22-episode run. That would drive me bonkers,” he said.

“Shades of Blue” Season 2 also stars Drea de Matteo as Tess, Warren Kole as Robert Stahl, Dayo Okeniyi as Loman, Hampton Fluker as Marcus Tufo and more.
