Singer Jessica Simpson and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo broke up the night before Simpson's 29th birthday which happened on Friday, according to People Magazine.

Romo was spotted at Hollywood's MyHouse partying with 14 of his friends Friday night but Simpson wasn't there, according to reports.

She is heartbroken, the source said, according to People.

The ex-couple who began dating in 2007, have called it quits previous times. Romo ended the relationship this time because he is busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show, a source told the magazine.
