Jinger Duggar breaks down in tears while discussing her brother Josh Duggar's molestation and cheating scandal in a sneak peek of the TLC special "Jill and Jessa: Counting On." Jinger admits that her family is still trying to "comprehend" everything that happened.

In the clip, posted by Extra, Jinger is seen helping her sister Jessa Seewald shop for a chair to put in the baby's nursery. (Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, welcomed their son, Spurgeon Elliot, Nov. 5.) In her confessional, Jinger opens up about how her famous family has been coping since news of the scandal broke. “I think that when we heard all this stuff, it was so unreal. We still have trouble comprehending it today," she says. "But just the reality of this ... the person we thought we knew. This person that we love greatly … we still love."

"Just the hard pain that it’s caused," Jinger continues, trailing off as she starts to cry. The 21-year-old tells the camera that everyone was "overwhelmed" and "so grieved" about what happened.

“It almost seems like this person that we knew is no longer the same person," she explains. "We just prayed and asked God to help us get through it.”

As previously reported, Jill Dillard and Jessa's TLC special kicks off Sunday, Dec. 13. The three-part show will follow the former "19 Kids & Counting" stars as they try to move on with their lives. In June, it was revealed that Jill and Jessa were both molested by their brother Josh when he was a teen.

The two girls will also speak out about Josh's scandal. Other special guests include more of Josh’s siblings, as well as his wife, Anna Duggar.

The first episode of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" premieres Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
