Things are getting serious for Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara. The actors, who got engaged in Hawaii in December, reportedly have chosen a date for their wedding.

Us Weekly is reporting that the 38-year-old "True Blood" alum confirmed that he set a wedding date with Vergara. Although he didn't reveal when the nuptials would occur, his fiancée previously said they hoped for a fall ceremony.

"We're kind of busy so we're trying to do it maybe [this] fall," the 42-year-old "Modern Family" star told "Access Hollywood" at the SAG Awards in January. "It's going to be big. We started off with 20 [on the guest list], and now there's like pages and pages."

Though the two tentatively have decided to marry this fall, Vergara told "Access Hollywood" they had originally planned on a summer wedding in Florida. Unfortunately, she and her hubby-to-be will be hard at work during that time. Manganiello is slated to shoot "Magic Mike XXL," while Vergara will be busy promoting "Hot Pursuit," alongside Reese Witherspoon.

"We wanted to get married at a time when we can get away and make time for a honeymoon. So the wedding will probably be later this year," Vergara said. "Summer is going to be too crazy."

Manganiello and Vergara began dating shortly after the Colombian beauty called off her engagement to businessman Nick Loeb. According to Hollywood Life, she and Loeb were engaged for two years.

Manganiello reportedly popped the question on Christmas Day while the two were away on vacation. Rumors began swirling when Vergara was spotted on a beach wearing an enormous diamond ring just days later. The couple had been together only since July.

The couple confirmed the engagement reports just one month later when they appeared on the red carpet at the SAG Awards together. Vergara showed off her multicarat ring on E!'s signature "mani-cam," saying, "This is the love hand!"
