  • ONE on Prime Video 7 will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia

John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade are set to slug it out once more for the bantamweight championship at ONE on Prime Video 7 on February 11 (February 10 in the United States).

The rematch was announced by ONE Championship on Tuesday, November 15.

Lineker and Andrade first crossed paths at ONE on Prime Video 3 in Malaysia back in October, following months of heated verbal exchanges on social media.

During the bout's official weigh-ins, Lineker—who was heading into the bout as the reigning bantamweight titleholder—missed weight and was subsequently stripped of the title.

While the bout pushed through, only Andrade could take the title home with a victory.

Unfortunately, no new champion was crowned at the end of the night as the world title tiff ended on a disappointing no contest following an inadvertent knee from Andrade that landed below the belt and rendered Lineker unable to continue.

Both Lineker and Andrade have been on devastating runs since coming over to ONE Championship.

A former top contender in the UFC, Lineker debuted in ONE Championship back in 2019, defeating Muin Gafurov by unanimous decision.

"Hands of Stone" would follow that up with a pair of devastating knockout victories over former titleholder Kevin Belingon and Troy Worthen to earn a shot at the bantamweight strap, then held by fellow Brazilian Bibiano Fernandes.

Lineker went on to knock out Fernandes, handing the longtime champion his first stoppage loss in the promotion.

Like Lineker, Andrade has been unstoppable inside the Circle.

Andrade debuted in 2020, submitting Mark Abelardo by second-round rear-naked choke.

"Wonder Boy" followed that up with a decision win over Shoko Sato and then knockout victories over Li Kai Wen, Jeremy Pacatiw and Kwon Won Il to earn a shot at the gold-plated strap.

With all the controversy and the bad blood between the two bantamweight contenders, the rematch will indeed be a must-see affair.
