Actor Johnny Depp will appear at pop singer Rihanna's upcoming Savage X Fenty lingerie show, TMZ reported Thursday.

The announcement of Depp's participation comes five months after the actor's defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard. The trial caught the attention of millions of viewers across the world.

Depp has mostly kept a low profile since the trial.

Rihanna's pre-taped fashion show will air on Amazon Prime Video on Nov. 9 and will include other notable names including Cara Delevigne, Simu Liu, and Joan Smalls. This is the fourth annual "Savage X Fenty" show which organizers call, "A seductive fashion fever dream [that] blends Emmy award-winning choreography, style, and music with the hypnotic essence of nocturnal nature."

Depp will not be walking the runway but will be wearing items from the men's collection in a portion of the show. Sources say that the actor has already filmed his appearance and that both parties were "thrilled to collaborate."

Depp made a surprise cameo at the MTV Video Music Awards in August and is reportedly set to star in the film "Jeanne du Barry" as King Louis XV.

A Virginia jury ruled on June 1 that Heard's op-ed was false and defamed Depp with actual malice and awarded Depp a total of $15 million in compensatory and punitive damages. The jury also awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages and zero in punitive damages from Depp.

The news of Depp's appearance at Rihanna's fashion show drew mixed reactions online.
