Julianne Hough has got her brother Derek Hough’s back after the latter got diagnosed with COVID-19.

The two-time mirrorball winner, 33, has been revealed to be filling in for the six-time “Dancing With the Stars” champ, 36, for the finale of Season 30, sources told Page Six hours before Monday night’s episode.

Julianne herself also teased about replacing her brother to do some judge duties on the show, marking her comeback in ABC’s hit dancing competition after leaving in 2017.

“Happy Monday everybody! I’m super excited because today you may see me do something that you’ve seen me do in the past,” the professional dancer wrote on her Instagram Stories.

By returning to the show, Julianne will be reuniting with fellow judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. She will also play a role in choosing this season’s mirrorball trophy winners.

The dance couples vying for the championship title are JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson, Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten, Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach, and Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke.

The news that Julianne will be returning to “DWTS” for the finale comes a week after Derek announced on Instagram that he had tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19.

Because of his condition, Derek was forced to isolate and couldn’t join the show for the finale. However, he told fans in a video update that he is actually feeling well despite contracting the virus.

“Even though I’ve been fully vaccinated, I’ve just been diagnosed with a breakthrough case of COVID. I just found out and I feel OK. I feel strong,” he said in a video clip he shared on the social media platform.

The “Make Your Move” star also shared that he was quarantining to prevent the spread of the virus, as per the advice of the medical professionals he consulted.

Aside from missing the finale, Derek also had to reschedule his “No Limits” shows in Las Vegas. All five shows have since been moved to the second week of December.

Derek has been busy going back and forth from Los Angeles to Las Vegas due to his LA residency. Earlier in the season, he skipped week 3 after being exposed to the virus. Fortunately, he did not test positive at the time and was able to come back the following week.

The finale of “Dancing With the Stars” Season 30 airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
