Justin Bieber and wife Hailey Baldwin are just like any other couple and likely experience their fair share of ups and downs.

On Saturday, Bieber, 25, and the model, 22, reportedly looked tense as they sat on the grass in Laguna Beach, California, Daily Mail reported. In photos released by the outlet, Bieber and Baldwin appeared to be in the middle of a tense conversation in a park.

According to the outlet, Bieber was spotted getting up, walking away and even covering up his face a few times. Baldwin also raised her hands and seemed to be exasperated as she talked to her husband of five months.

For their outing, Baldwin was dressed for the warm weather in a cropped top and skin-tight gray leggings. She also went makeup-free and tied her hair up in a high bun. Bieber, meanwhile, wore a black hoodie and red gym shorts. He seemed to have foregone shaving for the day as he sported some facial hair.

Bieber and Baldwin tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Manhattan in September last year. However, the singer and model have not yet held their wedding ceremony in front of family and friends, and it has reportedly been postponed amid Bieber's mental health struggles.

Last month, Us Weekly confirmed that Bieber has been seeking treatment for "personal struggles," including anxiety and depression. A source told the outlet that Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend is "not in rehab," but he has instead been "going to several doctors" to cope with his mental health issues.

“He sees a therapist, but he’s not in a special center or anything; he doesn’t want to be dependent on medication. He struggles with ups and downs, anxiety, depression and uncertainty about the future,” the source said.

Bieber also recently opened up about his personal struggles during an interview with Vogue magazine for their March issue.

He confessed that his depression hit very hard during his "Purpose" tour in 2017, forcing him to cancel the last 14 shows. Bieber added that he hasn't revealed his struggles prior to this because he "needed some time" and had still been "processing so much stuff that I haven’t talked about."

Bieber also admitted that he used Xanax as a crutch to cope with his issues.

“Drugs put a screen between me and what I was doing. It got pretty dark,” he explained. “I think there were times when my security was coming in late at night to check my pulse and see if I was still breathing.”
