Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez almost became a couple again in 2018, but that didn’t happen. There were a lot of rumors about them getting back together, and a new report has found the biggest story about them that has turned out to be false.

According to a report by Gossip Cop, the biggest rumor about the couple came in February after a report that claimed Gomez was pregnant with Bieber’s baby. A source reportedly claimed that Gomez shared the news with Bieber during a trip to Laguna Beach in Orange County, California.

This source went on to describe Bieber’s reaction to the pregnancy news. He wasn’t expecting it, but was apparently “ecstatic” about it. He also reportedly described it as a “dream come true,” according to the source.

The report has since been debunked, and Bieber got married to Hailey Baldwin. There was a brief chance for Bieber and Gomez to get back together before the marriage, but their reunion never happened. As for the pregnancy news, that is also evidently untrue because it is the end of 2018 already and there is no information yet about the singer having a baby or even having a baby bump.

Gomez was recently spotted near a Starbucks in Los Angeles, Teen Vogue reported. She was seen sporting a monochromatic look with an oversized white turtleneck and matching white high-rise, wide-leg pants.

This is said to be the first public appearance of Gomez after she announced in September that she is taking a break from social media. Previously, she was spotted in Studio City, California on Dec. 21 and was also seen with her friends on Dec. 24.

In another picture posted on E! News, Gomez was spotted wearing a black Taylor Swift Reputation tour hoodie. Gomez and Swift are good friends, and the two even shared the stage at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, where they sang “Hands to Myself.”

Gomez previously remarked that Swift is like her elder sister and that she tells her everything. She also said that Swift is so smart that it freaks her out.

Swift also considers Gomez to be her best friend. When Swift wasn’t able to join Gomez on the latter’s birthday in July, she posted a picture of a birthday cake on her Instagram to celebrate the occasion from a distance.

It isn’t clear what new project Gomez is working on, but the fans may get to hear something from her soon.
