Brace yourselves Justin Timberlake fans, new music is coming. Timberlake announced he’s going to put out a new song on Friday called “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” Listeners are now wondering if the single will be something from his next album or the soundtrack of his upcoming “Trolls” movie.

Timberlake started to tease his new song “Can’t Stop the Feeling” on Twitter this week. On Wednesday he sent out a series of tweets talking about the song arriving on Friday. The pop star recently shared pictures in the studio with Pharrell, Timbaland, and Little Big Town. You can see his tweets below:

In an episode of Beats 1's OTHERtone in April, Timberlake talked to hosts Scott Vener and Pharrell Williams about his fifth studio album. However, it didn’t sound like the record would be coming out anytime soon.

“It's so in its infancy right now that I couldn't say,” Timberlake said. “Just because, there may be a longer length of time that this stuff that we're working on right now [needs], and then when it comes out it may turn into something completely different.”

“Can’t Stop the Feeling” could be a song off the fifth studio album or it could be a track off of the upcoming “Trolls” soundtrack. Timberlake will voice Branch in the upcoming computer-animated movie and is also working on music for the film. According to Billboard, Timberlake will be writing and recording original material for the flick, which comes out on Nov. 4. The “Suit & Tie” singer told Billboard he’s “excited” to combine his music with film.

“This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it all,” Timberlake dished.

It’s been nearly three years since Timberlake last released a studio album. In September 2013, Timberlake dropped his fourth studio album “The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2,” which contained the hits “Take Back the Night” and “TKO.”
