Kate Middleton has changed a lot since marrying Prince William. After tying the knot in 2011, it took the Duchess of Cambridge a few years before she settled into her life as a member of the royal family.

One of Middleton’s acquaintances told The Sun that it was Prince William who helped his wife ease into her new role. The Duke of Cambridge used to tell Middleton stories about his late mother, Princess Diana.

“She used to second-guess everything she did, but eventually she realized that the problem wasn’t hers – it was everyone else. After all, if she doesn’t take herself seriously why should anyone else? Kate learned from talking to William about Diana that if you are at ease, then that rubs off on the people you meet. And the best way to be at ease is to just be yourself,” the Duchess of Cambridge’s friend said.

And now that Middleton is in a much better place as a royal, she is seemingly sharing tips with her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex is struggling with her royal life, and she complained about it during her interview with Tom Bradby.

Royal expert Dickie Arbiter said that he thinks Middleton is trying to patch things up with Markle especially since they are the ones who have an issue with each other. Rather, it’s Prince William and Prince Harry.

“There’s no bad blood between Kate and Meghan – if you remember, way back in July, they were in the Royal Box at Wimbledon watching the lady’s finals. A few weeks later, they were at polo watching their respective husbands play,” he told Express.

Arbiter added that based on what Prince Harry said during his interview with Bradby, he and his brother are the ones who need to sort things out. Middleton, on the other hand, has been giving Markle advice and comfort during this very difficult time in her life.
