Kate Middleton's fashion choices for the royal family's annual Christmas Day church service has always been impeccable, but this year, she seemed to be extra festive.

On Dec. 25, Middleton and her husband, Prince William, joined Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family on their way to the St. Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham, Norfolk. The mom of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who were not present during the walk and church service, was all smiles as she chatted with Markle and greeted the crowd of people who came to see the royal family.

While Markle went full-on Victoria Beckham in a navy tailored coat, midi dress and fascinator, Middleton seemed to have embraced the Christmas spirit completely in her gorgeous red Catherine Walker coat dress. She paired the dress with matching red heels, gloves, Bayswater clutch by Mulberry and the burgundy "Halo Band" with a black felt bow by milliner Jane Taylor, according to People.

For those who want to copy Middleton's festive red outfit, Macy's offers a Shelli Segal double-breasted skirted peacoat that comes in four colors, including red, and has a $275 price tag. Check it out here.

Meanwhile, Express UK speculated that Middleton and Markle may be drawing fashion inspiration from each other. The outlet pointed out that the two duchess wore similar outfits on Christmas Day, albeit in different colors. Both wore long coats and headpieces, and their respective outfits were in one color for the most part, though Middleton's was red and Markle's navy.

The outlet also noted that Middleton's red ensemble seemed to be reminiscent of Markle's collared maroon dress and matching coat during her visit to the Hubb Community Kitchen in west London back in November.

Middleton also wore wide-legged pants earlier this month during a trip to Cyprus, and she seemed to have taken some inspiration from Markle, who has worn trousers several times this year.

Back in July, the Duchess of Cambridge's yellow Roksanda dress at Wimbledon also bore a striking resemblance to Markle's canary-colored dress by Brandon Maxwell during the "Your Commonwealth" Youth Challenge reception in London’s Marlborough House.
