Kate Middleton is front and center now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family.

A few weeks back, Prince Harry and Markle announced that they were stepping back from their roles as senior members of the royal family. Prince William and Middleton became more visible as they took more engagements.

According to a source, with the Sussexes gone in the picture especially after the Sussexes left the foundation they used to share, the future queen has become more significant. Prince William is happy to take more roles, too.

“William knows he will have a lot more work this year and is happy to perform whatever duties the Queen asks of him. But he is determined that won’t be to the detriment of his charity work,” the source told The Sun.

“Kate is front and centre now where in the past she didn't have as much of an input. They are very ambitious about what they want to achieve. Performing their royal duties remains incredibly important to them and it always will. But the Foundation is where their passion lies and where they believe they can have a huge impact in 2020.”

Prince William and Prince Harry started The Royal Foundation that focuses on mental health. Middleton and Markle joined after their marriage with the royal princes. However, in June 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they wanted to split from the Cambridges to create their own foundation.

Following Prince Harry and Markle’s departure from the Foundation, the future king had come up with “clear and determined” plans for him and Middleton in the next 12 months. Prince William is reportedly planning to bring a crusade that he is passionate about. Among the two biggest areas he considers are mental health and supporting those who work in the emergency services.

Meanwhile, Prince William joked about Queen Elizabeth II’s residence. The future king called Buckingham Palace a “dodgy area.“

In related news, Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney raised some eyebrows after throwing shade at Middleton. Royal fans felt that her post on Instagram about “pretty photos” was pertaining to Middleton. However, many of them felt that she was just jealous of the duchess.
