Kate Middleton has never been seen wearing anything orange.

The Duchess of Cambridge usually doesn't shy away from colorful outfits. In fact, she has worn bold colors and daring print dresses from magenta to electric blue. But despite this, Middleton has never been seen wearing orange in public.

According to Isabella Sullivan, a journalist for Daily Express, this could be a personal choice. It's possible that Prince William's wife doesn't think the color suits her. The clothing closest to orange that the duchess has worn is a pinkish peach ensemble, but Middleton was careful enough to make sure that it had no orange undertones. But while Middleton shies away from orange, she has been spotted multiple times wearing bright yellow, green, vibrant blue and red dresses.

And although the orange color didn't get Middleton's approval, the Queen is fond of the color. Queen Elizabeth was spotted wearing a cherry orange coat with a matching hat in 2017 when the royals attended their annual Christmas church service.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to spend some time in Balmoral this summer. It's been a practice of the members of the royal family to travel in the Scottish Highlands and spend summer with Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince William and Middleton visited the place in August last year. They were also seen in the same estate in September 2016.

Although it's unlikely that Prince William and Middleton will be photographed on the grounds of Balmoral Castle, the best time to catch the royals is when they attend a church service nearby the village of Crathie, Aberdeenshire. The Queen has been photographed attending a service there, this year. The duke and duchess were also seen in the same church last year with Prince Andrew.

Prince William and Middleton have been away from the spotlight for quite some time already. According to last reports, they travel to Mustique with their three children and with Middleton's parents. In fact, they were seen dancing when they attended a night out party on the private island.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expected to attend Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks' wedding on Saturday, but they didn't make it. It's possible that the family is still in Mustique enjoying their annual holiday.
