Kate Middleton showed off her talent in photography on her recent outing.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out after she succeeded the Queen as patron of the Royal Photographic Society. Queen Elizabeth II held the patronage for 67 years and decided to pass it down to Prince William’s wife.

Middleton visited Warren Park Children’s Centre in Kingston, south-west London and showed her technical skills by teaching kids how to capture great photos. Middleton was photographed sitting with Josh Evans, nine, who showed the duchess his pictures that included one showing a leaf in a puddle.

“I didn't know who she was but she wanted to see my pictures,” he said.

“I still don't know who she is but she asked me my favourite picture and I showed her the picture I took in the garden.”

Middleton was heard praising Josh’s work. The mother of three even said that the boy has “real talent” and added that he is “very good” and should definitely keep it up.

Josh’s mom, Natasha Evans, said that he is suffering from ADHD and had behavioral problems. He was transformed after receiving support from a mentor provided by Action for Children. She added that in a few years time, Josh would see how important that day was when he sees a picture of him with the future queen.

Neeve Rees, 15, and Courtney Moon, 14, also met Middleton. According to them, the Duchess of Cambridge left them some tips on how to capture the best shot.

“Look at everything around you. Maybe it's in front of you, or far away but choose your subject and focus in on it,” Middleton said.

Middleton also encouraged them to go outside with their camera. The Duchess of Cambridge continued saying that her older kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte love it when they do it.

Neeve was very happy to meet Middleton. She said that she “really liked” the duchess because Middleton was very positive and she liked their photos.

Middleton is a self-confessed amateur photographer. She personally took the photos of her kids to celebrate their milestones, especially on their birthdays. Her kids are her favorite subjects.

In related news, Middleton altered Princess Diana’s sapphire earrings by removing diamonds from them. On the other hand, Meghan Markle also upgraded her engagement ring but did the opposite. The Duchess of Sussex added diamonds to her band.
