  • Kate Middleton wants Prince Harry to be present at her joint birthday celebration with Prince William

Kate Middleton wants her husband, Prince William, and brother-in-law, Prince Harry, to reconcile.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex have shared a close bond. At one point, Prince Harry considered Middleton the sister he never had.

Russell Myers, the royal editor at Daily Mirror and co-host of the "Pod Save The Queen" podcast, claimed that the Queen will be hosting a joint celebration for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 40th milestone birthday later this summer at the Windsor Castle. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Prince Andrew are reportedly unlikely to receive an invite.

However, Royal and entertainment reporter and commentator Neil Sean said on his YouTube channel that Middleton wants Prince William's brother present at the event. He quoted a very good source that "the Duchess of Cambridge is very keen for Harry to be invited." However, there was "no mention of Meghan."

"Apparently, she thinks, this would be an actual great way of bonding together. Birthdays are a time, as she's pointed out, [to celebrate] families and having loved ones around you," Sean added.

The royal expert also pointed out how Middleton attempted to get the royal siblings to bond during Prince Philip's funeral, but it didn't work. For Sean, Middleton "is nothing but a trier." He also mentioned that she likes her brother-in-law and has a close relationship with him.

"For her, she would very much like to see some relationship mounted back together. However, moving forward, that really depends on, of course, if Harry and Meghan do get an invite and more importantly, would they accept or would they find some kind of excuse not to return," he added.

An anonymous source echoed the same report via Us Weekly. According to the tipster, Middleton has "frantically" been trying to save Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship, but both are "overly stubborn."

"[She] had a quiet word with the boys separately, even going as far as calling Harry in Montecito and suggesting that he reach out to William on his birthday," the insider said. "The issue is William and Harry are both overly stubborn, so there’s not much hope."
