Did Katy Perry and Taylor Swift make a song together?

That's what fans speculated after taking a deep dive and connecting the dots between the two pop stars' recent social media posts. However, as it turns out, none of those dots were connected at all. Speaking with "Hits Radio Breakfast" on Friday, Perry set the record straight on the rumors that the "Bad Blood" singer will make an appearance on her new single "Daisies," off of her upcoming album "KP5."

"No, it’s not correct," the 35-year-old admitted. "But the fans are definitely excited for something like that to happen in the future, and I’m always open."

She added that Swift doesn't make an appearance anywhere on her upcoming studio album "yet," but gave props to the fans for being so alert.

"The fans are so fun. I mean, they do search far and wide for Easter eggs. And we do put them in our visuals and in lyric videos and music videos and content that we create," the "American Idol" judge said, going on to note that "not everything is an Easter egg" and "some things are just flowers."

On Friday, Perry dropped the visuals to go with "Daisies." In it, she showed off her growing baby bump.

The video comes two months after she revealed in a music video for "Never Worn White" that she was expecting a baby with fiancé and actor Orlando Bloom. Almost one month later, the couple shared an adorable, yet messy, gender reveal and announced they were having a daughter.

"It's a girl," she captioned a photo of Bloom's face covered in what looked like frosting.

While the baby is Perry's first, it will be Bloom's second child. He shares 9-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

"KP5" is scheduled to be released on Aug. 14.
