Kelly Clarkson will pay tribute to country music star Dolly Parton with a special performance at this year's Academy Of Country Music (ACM) Awards on March 7.

The "Behind These Hazel Eyes" singer broke the news on the latest episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

"I'm going to be performing at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Monday, March 7 and I am super stoked because the one and only Dolly Parton – I have a special tribute plan just for her," she said Wednesday.

She also announced the news in an Instagram post Wednesday and wrote, "One word: DOLLY. That's right, y'all! I'm so excited to announce that during this year's @ACMAwards, I'll be performing a tribute to the show's host @DollyParton! Don't miss the #ACMawards LIVE Monday, March 7, only on @PrimeVideo."

Parton, 76, commented with a heart emoji on Clarkson's post.

The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will be hosted by the country music legend herself. Jimmie Allen and fellow ACM nominee, Gabby Barrett, will serve as co-hosts of the event.

"The Academy has a long history of highlighting the biggest stars in Country Music alongside today's rising stars, and this year that will spotlight even further," Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, earlier said. "Reigning ACM New Male Artist of the Year winner Jimmie Allen and reigning ACM New Female Artist of the Year Gabby Barrett will co-host the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards side-by-side with Dolly Parton, pairing two of today's most exciting new artists in the genre with one of the world's most beloved music icons."

Brothers Osborne, Brittney Spencer, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, Eric Church, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis and Mitchell Tenpenny will perform at the event.

Parton will perform her new song, "Big Dreams and Faded Jeans" from her upcoming album "Run, Rose, Run," with Kelsea Ballerini. It is a companion album to her novel of the same name, which she co-wrote with James Patterson. Allen and Barrett are also set to perform together.

The other performers in the show are Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Walker Hayes, Parmalee, Blanco Brown, Brooke Eden, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde and BRELAND.

This year's ACM Awards will live stream on Amazon Prime Video.
