How quickly things change: Kendall Jenner got a tattoo Tuesday despite declaring just months ago that she would stay away from getting inked. Her older stepsister, Kim Kardashian West, advised against the move but Kendall and fellow model Hailey Baldwin decided to live on the edge and get the skin art.

New York City tattoo artist Jon Boy posted a closeup photo of what is believed to be Kendall Jenner’s hand. On it, a very small white dot can be seen tattooed on her middle finger. A matching tattoo can be seen on the hand of one of her friends.

Both the tattoo artist and Kendall later posted a photo where she is seen flipping the camera with the finger. She is surrounded by friends Hailey Baldwin, Hillsong photographer Joe Termini and singer Harry Hudson. The Daily Mail reports that the two guys got matching dot tattoos like Kendall.

Hailey opted for a slightly bigger tattoo behind her left ear. She shared a photo of a tiny letter “G” inked into her skin. The report states that it’s a tribute to a girl named Georgia, daughter of pastors from the Zoe Church who was reportedly diagnosed with a “rare brain condition.”

All the small tattoos are hardly noticeable but Kendall’s new ink still goes against her own declaration earlier this year. In February, Kendall explained that she wasn’t comfortable with the permanent nature of tattoos. She also said that Kim advised against it, saying “Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.

Other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan don’t share the same opinion as Kim. Some of them already have some ink on their bodies. Kendall’s brother Rob has several tattoos on his body. Khloe Kardashian also has a few, including a "tramp stamp" on her lower back and initials of her estranged husband Lamar Odom inked into her hand. Family matriarch Kris Jenner also has a tramp stamp, which features a cross and the names of daughters Kendall and Kylie.
