Kendall and Kylie Jenner don’t want any advice from their older stepsisters, at least when it comes to designing their own fashion line. The youngest members of the Kardashian-Jenner brood released their collaboration with Topshop this week. During an appearance at a Los Angeles branch of the retailer, they shared that they wanted the designs to be completely their own, with no influence from their famous older siblings.

Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian had to keep their opinions to themselves when Kendall and Kylie worked on their Topshop line. This is what the young women told E! News when a reporter caught up with them during their appearance at the Grove in Los Angeles on Wednesday: "We actually don't want their opinion. We want it to be all us, really authentic and just from us,” Kylie said.

This is not to say that they don’t respect their older sisters’ opinions. Kylie explained that the collection is for their fans who have already come to love their personal style choices. Staying true to themselves and sticking to their unique styles is what they wanted to bring to the table.

When asked about the inspiration for their line, Kendall spoke about the typical California girl. Kylie backed her up and said that the style is very relaxed and suited for summer. The pieces are light and comfortable, according to Kendall. She calls it their “off-the-red-carpet look.”

While at the event, Kendall also gushed about Caitlyn Jenner and her tremendous Twitter feat. After gathering over 2 million followers practically overnight, Caitlyn -- formerly Bruce Jenner -- made her daughters are quite proud. Caitlyn will also star in her own mini docu-series on E! in July. “I Am Cait” will follow Caitlyn as she tries to live her “new normal” as a woman.

The Kendall and Kylie collection for Topshop is now available in stores and in the online shop.
