Khloe Kardashian has been fired from “The X Factor,” according to recent reports.

According to the New York Post, the 28-year-old reality star, who is arguably best known as "Kim Kardashian's sister," has been “X'd.”

Khloe rose to fame on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” but it seems “The X Factor” doesn’t want to keep up with her any longer.

“They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe,” a source confirmed to the Post.

The celebutante had no experience before being hired to co-host the high-profile Fox singing competition. She was visibly nervous and unprepared on camera and practically made some viewers feel “uncomfortable.”

Los Angeles hosting expert Marki Costello, who has helped coach “Voice” judge Cee Lo Green for “X Factor’s” rival show, told the Post:

“I am sure there was a big percentage of Khloe’s fans who followed her to ‘X Factor.’ But at the end of the day, when she doesn’t know what she is doing, are you helping your show or hurting it?”

“It was really hard for me to watch Mario with her,” she said. “It made me, as a viewer, almost uncomfortable.”

Kardashian even admitted that she was having a hard time on the show in the beginning. She said on one of her reality television shows:

"I do feel like through every show I got better and better, but my first week I literally was like, 'I am going to die. I want to fake a heart attack.'"

In interviews after the show had ended, Kardashian reportedly said she needed glasses to read the teleprompter, but refused to wear them on stage. Instead she had to scramble to find contact lenses just days before the first show was to air.

Simon Cowell, the creator of the show, generally sifts through celebrity judges like they’re as disposable as toilet paper.

If it’s true that Kardashian is getting the boot, she’s not alone. Pop princess Britney Spears (who was paid a whopping $15 million for her stint on the show) won’t be returning to the reality singing competition after she received mixed reviews.
