Kim Kardashian wants another baby with husband Kanye West, and that fact has been heavily explored on season 13 of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” In a teaser for the season finale of the reality series, Kardashian is joined by her younger sister Khloé for a fertility exam. The pair hoped to find out if the 32-year-old is able to get pregnant in order to perhaps become a surrogate for Kardashian and West.

The younger Kardashian sister appears to have gotten in over her head in the teaser, and she tells viewers that the surrogacy idea has begun “snowballing.”

“I come here just for doctor’s appointment — I have no idea I’m about to even get an ultrasound,” she says. “This whole thing is just kind of snowballing, and it’s moving really fast for me.”

But she soon receives some troubling fertility news of her own as she’s administered an ultrasound.

“Okay, here’s your uterus,” a doctor says. “So if we’re trying to get you pregnant, this is where we look forward to seeing a pregnancy. There’s nothing there today. These are follicles — these hold eggs — so this is just giving an idea of how young your ovaries are.”

“Are they young or old?” Khloé asks.

“There are fewer follicles than I anticipate for a normal 32-year-old,” he says.

“Shut the [expletive] up,” Khloé says. “This is definitely not all how I thought this appointment was going to go. What if I can’t get pregnant?”

Kim, 36, spoke with host Andy Cohen on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” in May. Among other things, Kardashian revealed she’s not quite ready to give up on having a third baby, even if she’s unable to carry it herself. She admitted to Cohen that she tried “begging” her younger sister to carry the baby before.

“I have had to go through multiple things to try and do it on my own. I do not think that is looking good for me but I am not giving up,” Kardashian said, according to International Business Times UK. "So it is a process. You kind of see the whole thing on this next season of our show, of me begging Khloé to help out, but I do not want to do that to her.”

Kardashian currently has two children — 3-year-old daughter North and 1-year-old son Saint — with West. She’s had extremely difficult pregnancies for both, the complications of which she’s discussed on her reality show at length. Kardashian reportedly suffered from suffered from placenta accreta — a rare and potentially life-threatening condition in which the placenta attaches too deep in the uterine wall — during both of her previous pregnancies. On a recent episode, the mom of two revealed that her body cannot withstand another birth and she’s considering other options.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” will air its season finale Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on E!
