Kim Kardashian, 39, and her sisters – Kourtney Kardashian, 40, Khloe Kardashian, 35, Kendall Jenner, 23, and Kylie Jenner 22 – have been dominating social media and beauty industry for years. The Kardashian-Jenner clan has, also, been known for its own reality television series titled “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which airs on E! cable network. However, new reports are claiming that one of the longest-running reality television series in the U.S. is suffering from "ratings nightmare" lately, urging some to ask Kim and her sisters to stop doing the show.

Sources told Straight Shuter that Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall and all the people behind the cameras are “no longer passionate” about doing the series due to its low ratings. It was claimed that “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Season 17 had over one million viewers during its premiere but everything started to go south after a few weeks. E! executives are, reportedly, worried that things might exacerbate as the current season continues.

“Kim [Kardashian] and her sisters are no longer passionate about filming it, and you can tell. What doesn’t make sense is why they are continuing,” the insider said, per RadarOnline.com. “If they don’t want to do it anymore just stop. The secret is to know when to walk away, and that moment is now,” it added.

Kim Kardashian and her family have yet to address these allegations. Hence, avid followers of the show should take these speculations with a grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” series has been receiving negative reviews since its premiere in Oct. 2007. While some think that the show lacks intelligence and has been fabricating some aspect of its storyline, others recognized the success of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is also considered as one of the most successful shows on E! Besides the numerous audience awards, another proof of the show’s feat is the creation of several spinoff-series, which include “Kourtney and Kim Take New York,” “Khloe and Lamar,” “Dash Dolls,” “Life of Kylie,” “Rob & Chyna” and “Flip It Like Disick” among others.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian just turned 39 on Monday. The wife of Kanye West, 42, was flooded with birthday wishes from her family, close pals and fans. Her mom, Kris Jenner, 63, even shared a photo of the makeup mogul on Instagram alongside a heartfelt birthday message. Khloe, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall, also, wrote their sweet birthday messages for the mom of four on social media.
