Kim Kardashian talked about the backlash she got after sharing a piece of advice to women in a recent episode of "The Kardashians."

Kim dined with her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner in the recent episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians." During their meeting, she recounted the backlash she received for sharing her business advice for women.

"There's just been so much going on because of that Variety interview," Kim told her sisters, People reported. "I said what I said about people working. Do I believe in that? Yes, I believe that you have to work hard in order to do that. But I was just so blindsided by how angry people got."

Kardashian said "enough people were triggered" and she wanted to be responsible and understanding. She acknowledged that not all people were given the same opportunities as them, but the Skims founder also stressed that many people assumed the wrong thing about her — that everything was just handed to her.

"I think people would assume that I got everything handed to me, being on a TV show. But being on a reality show, let alone a reality-show girl with a sex tape, does not open doors," Kim added. "I always felt like I had to work extra hard and harder to be taken seriously and for people to forget about my past."

The celebrity mom of four said she worked hard because it was what she learned from their mom, Kris Jenner, who "started her career and making money at 50."

"I saw her work her a-- off and figure it out...and that really inspired me to work," she continued.

Khloe assured Kim that she understood where the latter was coming from and found the situation "frustrating." However, she reminded her sister that no matter what she said, people would always have something to say against her.

"They're always gonna say, 'Well, what do you know? You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth.' But it's frustrating when the world doesn't want to see you for who you are, and they want to always make whatever you say a personal attack," said Khloé.

Jameela Jamil was among those who slammed Kim for her business advice for women. In the interview, Kim said she had the "best advice for women in business" before adding, "Get your f--king a-- up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days."

Many found the statement tone-deaf. Jamil seemingly mocked Kim in a tweet.

"I think if you grew up in Beverly Hills with super successful parents in what was simply a smaller mansion... nobody needs to hear your thoughts on success/work ethic," Jamil wrote. "This same 24 hours in the day s--t is a nightmare. 99.9% of the world grew up with a VERY different 24 hours."
