Kim Kardashian is on holiday in Italy, and she is making sure her fans know how it is going.

The 40-year-old reality TV star took to Instagram on Thursday to post new photos of her vacation, apart from the frequent stories she had been sharing.

Kardashian donned a beautiful white dress, with her hair up in a neat bun during her Vatican Museums visit. She didn't wear any accessories with the outfit, but completed her look with a pair of matching high-heels.

Kardashian visited the Vatican with Kate Moss and her daughter Lila Grace. In the first photo, the reality star flaunted her laced white outfit while showing a peace symbol with her fingers in the museum.

In the second photo, she clicked a photo with Moss, who wore a black lace outfit. Kardashian also covered herself with a black jacket. In the other photos, Kardashian could be seen holding the jacket in her hands after the visit.

"We had the most incredible experience touring Vatican City @vaticanmuseums," she captioned. "It was amazing to be able to view all of the iconic art, architecture, and ancient Roman sculptures in person, especially Michelangelo’s works."

"We even had an opportunity to view their private archive of robes worn by every pope in history, dating back to the 1500’s," she added. "Thank you @ocspecial for arranging the visit. (Don’t worry, I adhered to the dress code and fully covered up while inside St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel’s)."

Even though Kardashian can be see wearing a jacket, she came under fire after her photos of the visit went viral on social media as many fans claimed she did not respect the dress code of the religious site.

According to the Vatican museums' website, the church, the chapel, and the official residence of the pope located in the Apostolic Palace can be entered only by "appropriately dressed visitors."

"Sleeveless and/or low-cut garments, shorts above the knee, miniskirts, and hats are not permitted," the website stated. "The requirement of decorum extends also to any visible personal objects as well as similarly visible distinctive personal signs (such as, for example, tattoos) that may offend Catholic morality, the Catholic religion, and common decency."

On Wednesday, Kardashian shared photos from her visit to the iconic amphitheater, Colosseum. She was accompanied by her hairdresser Chris Appleton, makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic and her friend Tracy Romulus.
