The Japanese release of "Kingdom Hearts 3" happened on Jan. 25, and many players have imported it in hopes playing it as early as possible. While Square Enix and director Tetsuya Nomura have done their part in cleaning the internet of spoilers, there is still a chance that you would encounter them. Here’s what you can do to avoid "Kingdom Hearts 3" spoilers.

Avoid Social Media Groups Related To "Kingdom Hearts 3"

Some fansites may practice and preach discretion when it comes to sending out spoilers, but not all of its subscribed followers do. Sometimes, the spoilers are in the comments section or on the other parts of the image in there. In accord to not most of us can control not even the developers themselves; you could try unfollowing groups for at least a week until the game releases this coming Jan. 29.

Avoid Searching "Kingdom Hearts 3" In Youtube

While it is true that the scenes you’ll see in most video sites are in Japanese, giving you an idea of the scene may provide you with enough context and ruin the enjoyment of the game. For your own sake, abstain from searching anything "Kingdom Hearts" at the moment. Sometimes, the Youtube algorithm just goes ahead and provides you with videos related to your search history. Among other content, Youtube does a poor job at sorting out spoilers or spoiler discussions about "Kingdom Hearts 3," and you could be baited into seeing the thumbnail which could already be a spoiler in itself. Sometimes, a weapon, item or boss enemy’s form is the thumbnail they’ll use for that.

Follow only official social media and communities for "Kingdom Hearts 3"

So far, the official "Kingdom Hearts" Twitter and Reddit are safe places to keep up with the game’s release but not spoiling yourself with its content. However, keep a watchful eye as you do in social media groups as other players may want to ruin the experience for others regardless of their intentions.

Square Enix’s "Kingdom Hearts 3" is due for international release this coming Jan. 29. In just a few more days, we’ll get to see another entry of Square Enix’s strongest and long-running franchise.
