Kristen Stewart opened up about the consequences of fame and discussed her sexuality in a recent interview. The actress explained how she would like to work and the kind of projects she would like to take up, some of which has apparently come with a cost.

There is a dark side to fame that young celebrities are rarely ready to deal with. In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, Stewart said that fans get mad at celebrities who “don’t hold up” to the standards they have for them, and the stars who fail their fans’ expectations are seen as people who don’t deserve that fame.

Stewart was called an “ungrateful a—hole” when she failed her fans. The actress was previously in a high profile relationship with Robert Pattinson, but the two broke up after pictures of the actress kissing her married director Rupert Sanders surfaced online.

Pattinson and Stewart’s relationship was a hot topic because of the popularity of the “Twilight” movies. In a previous interview with The New York Times, the actress aid that the fans wanted the two celebrities to be together so much that the relationship was turned into a “product.”

Another issue that Stewart has to deal with on a daily basis is her sexuality. The actress said in the recent interview that people find it hard to describe her because she doesn’t consider herself a “lesbian” and at the same time doesn’t call herself a “heterosexual” either.

Stewart was reportedly told to hide her sexuality if she wanted a successful acting career. She was apparently told at some point in the past that if she stopped holding her girlfriend’s hands in public she may be cast in a Marvel move.

Working with friends was more important for Stewart than being associated with big names in the industry. The actress said that she doesn’t mind making “weird, risky mistakes.”

Stewart is currently linked to screenwriter Dylan Meyer. The two of them were spotted kissing in New York last month, People reported.
