Another day, another update on Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's divorce.

The latest scoop gives some insight into the speculated reason why Kristin and Jay are getting a divorce. Legally, they both cited "irreconcilable differences" with the former "The Hills" star tacking on an additional claim of "inappropriate marital conduct" as the cause for their split.

While both terms can be a bit ambiguous on their own, a Page Six source revealed that Kristin was "growing increasingly impatient" with Jay and considered him to be a "lazy, unmotivated" guy.

"She was growing increasingly impatient with him. He was supposed to take this big job at Fox Sports and have a life after football that would get him up off the couch and do something," the insider said. "Instead, he backed out — this is [three] years ago — and joined the [Miami] Dolphins. That didn’t pan out well, and he was left with no TV gig until she got the show for them."

The source added that the 33-year-old reality star "views herself as very polished and put together, and [Cutler as] this lazy, unmotivated guy."

With this insight, it seems possible that the former NFL quarterback's retirement marked the beginning of the demise of their relationship. And his work ethic, or alleged lack thereof, could be listed as one of those irreconcilable differences.

Kristin, who shares sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4, with the 37-year-old, announced the couple's plans to divorce on April 26.

"With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce," she captioned an Instagram post of the couple walking into the distance.
